2 Chairs & Table "Anna" - Karin Mobring 1963 - Produced by IKEA Sweden in 1963.
Original red paint, solid beech plywood. Can be used both sides for different sized kids. Anna furniture, is an example of typical functional design,
with a predominance of wood, proposed by Ikea in the year 1960.
Chairs total height 39 cm, depth 31 cm, width 40 cm.
Seating height 14 cm or 25,5 cm.
Table: height 42 cm, width 76 cm and depth 45,5 cm. Original paint.
A robust piece of furniture made of pure beech wood, which is completely folded into the seats. The chairs can be turned upside down so you get a different seatheight.
Most chairs / tables you’ll find are restored and therefor not original. This vintage item is still orignal and in good and working condition consistent with age and use.
Karin Mobring - First lady of IKEA design
It was love at first sight when Ingvar Kamprad spotted a wooden chair by a designer named Karin Mobring in 1964. With an eye for materials and a talent for designing comfortable, quality furniture with wide appeal, Karin was about to become the first female IKEA designer.
