A Fabulous Pillar Stand Rocking Horse c 1880 , although no makers mark in considered opinion of expert in Rocking Horses its similar in construction to BCL (Liverpool Victorian Firm) but the detail carving and painting is superior.
The Rocking Horse has been restored to its former glory in 1999 by A.P.E.S Rocking Horses restorers U.K.I.C listed on the conservation unit register for museums and galleries with no expense spared and is in first class condition.
