Zocker by Luigi Colani 1972 Top System Burkhard Lübke Luigi Colani designed this chair pretty much for children. For the first time in the history of furniture design a chair for adults was developed out of a chair designed for children called Zocker. The organic forms of Colani’s innovative designs for boats, motorcycles, airplanes, glasses and photo equipment testify to his understanding of ergonomics and aerodynamics. He worked for numerous clients, including Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Volkswagen, BMW, Thyssen, Boeing, Rosenthal, Villeroy & Boch and NASA. Luigi Colani, regarded as one of the visionaries of German design.
