About the Item

A striking set of the works of the great American author Mark Twain, a smartly bound set including all of his best known and influential works. The collected works of Mark Twain. Complete in twenty-five volumes. This Hillcrest edition is named after one of the homes of Twain, in Tarrytown, New York, purchased by his wife in 1902. The couple never lived at Hillcrest however, as they planned to renovate it, but his wife fell into ill health. Including all of the important works of Twain, this set shows his great influence over American literature. 'The Innocents Abroad', Volumes I and II. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Overall: Near Fine
