This is a three volume set of the famous "Esempi" series by Roberto Aloi which was put together in the 1950's and was a survey of the very best of furniture design of its day. It covers designs from Scandinavia, Italy and the rest of Europe and America and features designers such as Carlo de Carli, Gio Ponti, Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte, Guglielmo Ulrich, Paolo Buffa, Jean Michel Frank, Carlo Mollino, Charles Eames, Knoll and Jean Royère. One covers dining tables, coffee tables and smaller trolleys, with 254 works illustrated in black and white with text in Italian French and English. The second covers Dining Rooms and Dining Room furniture - with 246 illustrations and text in Italian, English and French. The third covers seating, armchairs and sofas - having 310 illustrations with text in French, English, German and Italian. The are in soft covers.
