30 Volumes. William Hazlitt, Bourriene & Madame Junot. Life of Napoleon Bonaparte. Unique copy of the edition de Beauharnais (from the edition statement in volume one). This edition has an autograph or signed letter or document signed by a prominent French personality of the period in each volume, and is extensively extra-illustrated. Exquisitely bound in full light blue morocco, raised bands, top edges gilt, with inlaid green leaves and purple flowers in the corners, around an inlaid circlet of red surrounded by gilt laurel leaves stamped with a gilt "N" doublures of red morocco bordered by blue monogram "LRS" the lower with the Napoleonic arms, flyleaves of watered silk.
