This is a very good set of the sales catalogues produced by Christie's for the sale of the magnificent collection put together by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge, 23rd - 25th February 2009, which included many amazing pieces and the auction set many record prices, probably the most famous being the Eileen Gray chair which was lot 276 which fetched over 20 million dollars. Now scarce as a complete set in the slip case and it does include the CD
I = Impressionist and Modern Art (Monday 23rd February) 281 pages. This volume has been price marked
in pencil and the odd pen for the lots.
II = Ancient and Nineteenth-Century Paintings and Drawings (Tuesday 24th February) 161 pages.
III = Goldsmith's Work, Miniature's and Objects of Virtue (Tuesday 24th February) 275 pages.
IV = Decorative Arts of the Twentieth Century (Tuesday 24th February) 437 pages.
V = Sculptures, Art Objects, Asian Art, Archaeology and Furniture (Wednesday 25th February) 681 pages.
Text in French and English. Very heavy set 11.6 kg. Comes with a printed black canvas bag.
