DESCRIPTION: ARTIST'S EDITION WITH A SIGNED CHECK BY WORDSWORTH. 11 vols., 8-15/16" x 6-1/4", illustrators by John Singer Sargent and Remington, check made out to Longfellow and endorsed by him on the back included in vol. 1, bound in fine 3/4 red morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spines, top edges gilt, others uncut, marbled pastedowns and endpapers.
CONDITION: No previous ownership markings, bookplates, or inscriptions, inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spines fine, internally clean and bright, overall VERY GOOD.
