The First Edition Library (F.E.L.) by The Easton Press - The complete, matching, 14 volume James Bond by Ian Fleming collection. These are exact 1st edition facsimiles of each Ian Fleming, James Bond book and all are housed in a decorative slipcase. This is a rare out of print collection! All books Excellent to Like New condition. All dust jackets Excellent to Like New. Published by Easton Press in the early 1990s. Aside from the original first editions, which are exceedingly expensive and extremely hard to acquire -- 'The First Edition Library' 14 vol. James Bond 007 set is the second most collectible complete set as each book is an exact replica of the original first edition. This set was produced in a limited edition. Each of the 14 volumes is printed using modern archival materials and includes a decorative slipcase. Each book is identical to the First Edition, including... • the first critics comments printed on the jacket flap • the design of every volume is unique to its own era • the original artwork on the dust jacket • the endpapers • the typefaces • the titlepages • points or errors used to ID first editions Ian Fleming’s suspenseful series of 14 novels about the British fictional spy James Bond (known by his code 007), begins with Casino Royale in 1953 and ends (upon Fleming’s death) with Octopussy in 1964.
