DESCRIPTION: THE FIRST COLLECTED EDITION. 15 vols., 9-1/4" x 6-3/4", limited to 5,000 numbered copies this being copy #3324, title-pages printed in red and black, bound in fine 1/2 orange morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spines, marbled pastedowns and endpapers, top edges gilt, others uncut as issued, original paper spines bound in rear.
CONDITION: Internally clean and bright, inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spines fine, no previous ownership markings, inscriptions, or bookplate, A FINE SET seldom seen in a fine binding.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This edition was carefully arranged by Colette and her husband Maurice Goudeket and contains many unpublished texts and a bibliography.
