Parke Berner Galleries: The Walter P. Chrysler Jr. Collection of English Furniture Part One. New York: Parke-Bernet Galleries, Inc., 1960. First edition hardcover with no dust jacket as issued. An auction catalogue of magnificent Queen Anne and Georgian cabinetwork, British, Dutch and other Old Master paintings, Chelsea, Worcester and other porcelains, Aubusson and needlework carpets, table glass, porcelains, silver, linens and laces. The auction was held April 29 and 30, 1960. Walter P. Chrysler Jr. was the son of the founder of the Chrysler Corporation and an avid art collector, museum benefactor, and collector of fine furniture.
