This scarce catalogue of Picasso’s oeuvre is like an imaginary museum plentiful of paintings, sculptures, and other papier-mâché works made by Picasso during his time in Mougins. Many of the works inside were newly discovered at the time and have never appeared inside a catalogue or have been included in an exhibition. A visual feast of sorts and an intimate invitation into Picasso’s Atelier in South of France, we peruse many of these unnamed masterpieces with revelry and pleasure. Complemented by writings from Picasso himself and the talented writer and art interpreter Hélène Parmelin, this exceptional publication is a true collector’s piece.
