Poul Kjaerholm by Christoffer Harlang (Book)

About the Item

This lovely book was written by leading furniture experts and architects who deal with different facets of Poul Kjaerholm's life and work. The largest section is devoted to photographs of his furniture by Keld Helmer-Petersen, which seem to perfectly capture the nature of Kjaerholms precise genius and the perfection that he managed to capture in his different use and combination of materials such as - steel, leather, cane, glass etc. Kjaerholm was one of the Danish furniture designers who were working and designing in the second half of the 20th century, the others included Finn Juhl, Hans Wegner and Børge Mogensen. 189 pages with text in English.
