Soft cover with French text. 114 pp. An oversized art book on the rebirth of French painting from the 12th century to 1943. Each work of art is represented with a tipped in color plate. Jacques Basket (1872-1952) was a French art critic, art historian, author and a Knight in the French Legion of Honor.
