About the Item
This antique 9-karat yellow gold watch chain is presumed to have originated from England and dates to circa 1880. This long and substantial tight round link chain features a shield shaped slide with ornate decoration and seed pear accents. The gold watch key is intricately decorated and accented with blue enamelling. The watch clasp is clearly marked "8K".
