About the Item

A well crafted sterling silver brooch pendent with amoeba shaped design having 8 silver balls of varying sizes to the front. The back round has been oxidized by the artist and the edges polished to accentuate the the piece, works by a group of Mexican Modernist highlight their craft to the next level taking many ques from traditional jewelry making. This early production piece retains the hallmarks , 3 bells mark , # 235 , " Sigi " which was Pineda's mark and Tasco also the sterling silver and made in Mexico marking. Has the pin to the back for a brooch or still has the hook for a pendent, a heavy and fine piece of Modernist jewelry.
