Vintage 18k Gold and Diamond Ring with Blue & Green Enamel

VINTAGE 18K GOLD, BLUE & GREEN ENAMEL AND DIAMOND RING 9.8 grams total weight 7 round brilliant-cut diamonds marked "18K" & "ITALY" Item # 109FTP14P An incredibly fine and striking cocktail ring in size 7 1/2, it is cast in 18 karat yellow gold with a bright finish throughout in the form of bird feathers. These are decorated with cobalt and emerald enamel around a raised dome of round brilliant-cut diamonds set in white gold. This thin domed strip is affixed with an infinitesimal screw from the underside, a very smart construction that allows for the intricate detailing seen in both elements. It is an unusual and most eye-catching statement piece! Specifications: *Composition: 18 karat yellow gold All items are rigorously tested for metal content. Metal content is guaranteed. *Markings: "18K" & "ITALY" *Dimensions: size 7 1/2; 1" H x 7/8" W x 1/2" D *Age: Circa 1970s *Primary stone: 7 round brilliant cut diamonds, all 1.2-1.36 mm *Total weight: 9.8 grams *Condition notes: Beautifully polished and cleaned, presenting in like-new condition; extremely minor wear to enamel of feather-tips visible under loop. A RARE AND FINE QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY MINIATURE SALESMAN'S SAMPLE TILT-TOP CANDLESTAND England, circa last quarter of the 18th century Item # 403RPJ02P An exceedingly fine and rare salesman's sample of a perfectly scaled-down tilting top candlestand, it is crafted from dense mahogany and retains a rather early finish. The surface glows brilliantly under the old oxidized shellac, this turning nearly black in some areas with rich ruby hues coming through as rubbing and handling have worn it. The table is an exact replica of what a client would expect to receive in full size, a piece that would likely have been created for salesmen to take to prospective buyers to showcase what their shops could achieve in wood. The table retains its original battens on the underside, these flanking the original latch and catch that allow the top to easily rotate for storage. It is raised on a turned column with a swollen vasiform baluster over the curvy cabriole legs. Measurements: 12 1/2" H x 11 7/8" diameter Condition Report: Old finish with exceedingly fine silky surface patina throughout, old scuffs and abrasions that have oxidized, minor scars, a large stain (likely ink) to the top; old repaired break to one ankle; one screw missing from catch on underside of table; original hardware, original butterfly iron...

CHROME STEEL AND LEATHER MR20 ARMCHAIR Designed by Mies van der Rohe, circa 1970s Item # 205RSJ14P An iconic chair by Mies van der Rohe, this fine chromed steel and saddle leather MR20 armchair remains in excellent vintage condition. Likely manufactured in the 1970s, it retains the original leather and a vibrant chromed surface. Note the lack of exposed screw joinery and the seamless rail, as opposed to the lower quality and generally later variations with screws at the shoulders. The chair features a wonderful "spring" when sitting in it, almost simulating a rocking chairs motion. The brown leather lacing is replaced. These were acquired as a set of 3 chairs from an individual estate and are being sold individually.
