Oliver Goldsmith is a British heritage eyewear brand established in 1926 to create a new kind of glasses, where fashion and functionality worked hand in hand. With nearly a century of experience in the field, the company continues to make some of the most stunning eyewear pieces on the globe.
From Audrey Hepburn to Vidal Sassoon, Michael Caine to Grace Kelly, John Lennon and Peter Sellers, Princess Diana to The Rolling Stones and more – Oliver Goldsmith has dressed the faces of some of the most famous and iconic names in history. The OG glasses are still popular among celebrities and world-known public figures all around the globe.
From the estate of Joan Conway Crancer, daughter of the famous St. Louis painter Fred Conway, and was a passionate art collector, included in her collection were Calder Sculptures, Max Beckman paintings and Roman antiquities. She was actively involved with the Saint Louis Art Museum, where she served for many years as Museum Trustee and member of the Acquisition Committee, and remained Honorary Trustee for the rest of her life. Together with her husband, they endowed a gallery at the museum, named for Alice and Fred Conway, her parents.
