ITALIAN 14K YELLOW GOLD MESH CHOKER NECKLACE Marked "K14" & "ITALY"; circa mid-to-late 20th century Item # 012HOR11Z A piece that wears so comfortably, this gorgeous vintage Italian choker necklace features a most tightly woven mesh spun out of 14k yellow gold. It is of fine quality with intricate work, careful joinery and a spring-tongue clasp with a push-button release coupled with a safety wire clasp. The underside of the box clasp is marked "K14" and "ITALY" and the underside of the spring-tongue appears to have a worn maker's mark. Casual and refined, this elegant piece is rather substantial at 31.7 grams in total weight - it makes a wonderful statement.
