Antique "Corinthian 15" Wooden Table Top Bagatelle Board Game Set
About the Item
This antique bagatelle game set was made by the Corinthian Company of Finland in approximately 1920 and done in the period Art Deco style. The game board and bat are composed of walnut with a plywood base and bentwood surround. The set comes with its original steel ball bearings and endorsed by Walter Lindrum. The game is played by striking a ball bearing with the bat up the side channel and points are awarded by where the ball bearing lands on the board. This company made several versions of this game, and this is the 'home' or junior model as the competition model is number 21. The game board is clearly signed with a metal tag on the bottom.
