Antique Brass Scottish Surveyor's Compass in Fitted Wooden Box

About the Item

This antique surveyor's compass originates from Scotland and dates to approximately 1880 and made in the period Victorian style. The compass case is composed of solid brass with a metal face and hands. The compass has two hinged hangles that fold down into the fitted walnut storage box.
