Large 24 Piece Antique Mechanical Drafting Set & Original Fitted Metal Case
About the Item
This large and substantial antique mechanical drafting set most likely originates from Germany and dates to approximately 1900 and done in the period Edwardian style. The set is composed of several wooden rulers and various compasses and dividers of differing sizes and configurations. The set comes in its original metal case wtih an upper lift out drawer with fitted compartments and storage underneath holding approximately twenty four pieces. The metal case has two hinged tabs on the front that hold it closed and a small brass medallion on the top which has not been monogrammed.
