About the Item
This is an original wooden Cricket Game, all handmade, comprising 18 pieces, for indoor use on a table or carpet, all dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, circa 1900.
This is a classic indoor game of strategy and skill, fun to play for all age groups.
The set contains 18 pieces comprising the following;
10 x cricketers
1 x captain/ wicket keeper or umpire with a hat
1 x bat
3 x wickets with bails.
2 x balls
All pieces are hand made
Each cricketer is hand turned, carved and hand painted.
The bat has a wound black cord handle.
This is an interesting and unusual game, that could be played on a table or set out on the floor, providing fun for all the family.
