Antique Carved Dog Glove Holder Walking Stick Cane with Silver Banding
Offered for sale is a late 19th to early 20th-century antique hand-carved dog glove holder walking stick cane that has a silver band at the neck. The head has glass eyes. This cane has a mouth that opens and closes and is intended to hold your gloves. A press of the lever under its jaw and it opens the mouth which allowed a gentleman to secure his gloves if need for polite society. The cane is missing the tip.
