Dutch Mahogany 'Double Meter' Measures Bar, 1894 by Sande-Beskens

About the Item

A mahogany "Elle stok" measures bar by J. & A.V.D. Sande-Beskens, Nederlands Zeeuws Vlaanderen A double meter, reflected on each side A mahogany measures bar for fabric to be measured with inlaid copper. The markings are burned in, including the name, year letter and the calibration office. The calibration marks are Dutch T for the year 1894 and the calibration office is # 12 for Middelburg The measuring bar starts with the first 10 cm and continues with each 10th cm to 1 meter, furthermore it counts again every 10th cm to 2 meters 2 meters long and 2 cm in the square.
