Measures: 27.5" wide x 29.5" deep x 12.5" high
Architects original model housed under plexiglass
Edward Durell Stone, Architect
This pavilion is an introduction to the religion of Christian Science. The visitor is invited to take a fresh look at his universe, his world, himself, his questions about religion - to explore a new approach to his deepest questions about God and man.
After the fair, the pavilion was dismantled and shipped to Poway, California to serve as church edifice and Sunday school for the church. The building was eventually torn down in 2006 to make way for a new building.
A rare piece of Worlds Fair / Christian Science history.
