Princess Sophia Authentic Strand of Hair, 18th Century
About the Item
Princess Sophia was one of King George III’s four daughters and thus an aunt to Queen Victoria. She served as a companion to her mother Princess Charlotte until her death in 1818. As a result, she never married.
Princess Sophia's governess Lady Charlotte Finch (1725-1813) collected this half inch strand of hair sometime during the late 1700s.
It comes presented on an 8 x 5.75 inch display card, perfect for framing.
The hair is an intriguing addition to any royal memorabilia collection.
