Snuff Garrett's "Charlie Russell Rider" Chaps

About the Item

A pair of buckaroo chinks by "Grizzly Saddlery / Great Falls, Mont." with fringe and personalized "Garrett" on the belt. The chaps have overlaid "CRR" on the legs. Includes a tooled leather ID tag for the Charlie Russell Riders "Snuff Garrett 1994" along with one of Snuff's personal silk wild rags. The Russell Riders are a group of cowboys, mostly businessmen. They met three times a year and spent a week at the Mountain Sky Guest Ranch in Emigrant, Mont., to ride, fish and swap stories. Besides riding their favorite horses, the men met to promote Western culture and artwork. Snuff Garrett was a world class music promoter, Western personality, Bohlin Company owner, friend and orator.
