19th Century FRENCH MODEL FIELD GUN / CANON

About the Item

19th Century FRENCH MODEL FIELD GUN This model canon with a 10mm bored tube of 19cm in length is raised upon an oak carriage on cast iron and painted spoked wheels with brass and iron mountings. It has clearly been well used but remains in good condition. We have not tested it's firing capacity although this is certainly it's purpose. The model measures 29.5cm overall. Probably manufactured in the early half of the 19th century.
