About the Item

A detailed owner’s model or shipyard model of a double ended harbour launch, painted pale blue, the coach house with eight portholes, fitted with port and starboard lights and other details, with a continuous rope fender round the gunwale, all raised on a mahogany plinth. Probably American, circa 1940. Model height 6 ½ in length 19 inches beam 6 inches Overall height 8in length 20 ½ inches beam 9 ½ inches.

This bronze scale model of a defence cannon rests on a solid ebony carriage with working blocks and tackle to run the barrel out.
