1947 Hand Painted Premier British Royal Airforce Drum with Royal Coat of Arms
About the Item
1947 England, a hand painted Premier Percussion British Royal Air Force drum. The drum has been painted with a black main body, a richly colored royal coat of arms and the motto of the British monarch "Dieu et Mon Droit" meaning God and my right. The upper and lower borders are decoratively painted in vibrant red and green with gold accents. It is inscribed on the underside "A/C, Taylor, 2 Flight". The drum comes complete with all roping and original paintwork.
Premier Percussion is a renowned British percussion company, founded in 1922 and still in operation today.

Good/Fair, some paint loss and wear from age and use. Well preserved overall.
