'Arcadia' 21', a traditional goats' bell for the home

About the Item

A traditional goats’ bell reversed, reworked and upcycled into a luxurious accessory for the home. A symbolic artefact acting as a metaphor for the rise from humble beginnings into a modern European State. It is an ode to the noble bucolic soul that burns within us, reminding us that the gap between rural bliss and urban magnificence is only a goat's hair apart. Bells have been adorning livestock in Greece since ancient times. They hold spiritual properties, as talismans guarding the animals’ welfare, but also have monitoring attributes, keeping the herd united and recognisable, by the distinct group sound they produce. Edition of 21 items, individually numbered Please note that silver and silver plated items require occasional polishing. Use only silver – specific polishes.
