About the Item
Rare in original box gorgeous vintage 1940 ELECTRO VOICE V3 STUDIO RIBBON MICROPHONE (low impedance/bi-directional) with XLR connecting cable and desk stand. This third-generation V3 mic has been kept in fine physical condition; the Original paint shows barely a sign of wear, along with a clean wire mesh upper cage with a sharp clear maker's badge. The tilt angle holds firmly on the original support yoke with side thumbscrews. Inside, the new ribbon produces a clean rich output.
The Electro-Voice V series, which includes various models like V-1, V-2, V-3, etc. These microphones were popular in the mid-20th century, known for their durability and quality sound reproduction. The Turner V-3, in particular, is often sought after by collectors and enthusiasts for its classic design and historical significance.
