Engine Order Telegraph from a Yacht

About the Item

Solid brass ships engine order telegraph. This style has often used on yachts and tugboats. Showing astern and ahead commands showing slow, half and full. Varnished wood handle with brass cap. Mounted to a wood base. Note piece missing from bottom of pedestal. Mounted to a thick base with carved rope border. Makers name Chas, Cory and Son Inc, Patentees New York is on faceplate and on latent plate on top of head.
