International maritime signal flag of the letter "I," "India," set into a shadowbox frame. The cotton flag has a white canvas hoist with a sisal rope and wood toggle. The cotton field is yellow with a round black stitched circle. The signal for the "I" flag, when raised alone, is "Altering my course to port."
