Pair of Brass Ship's Beacon Lights with Fresnel Lens

About the Item

A pair of rare ship's beacon lights with Fresnel glass lens. Brass bracket feet, backplate and lid with side clamps to allow access to the bulb. These are originally European and have been rewired for American use. Takes a standard base light bulb. Deborah Lockhart Phillips, owner of The Lockhart Collection, sources one-of-a-kind pieces from all over the world; and often transforms nautical artifacts into functional or decorative uses. She has been in the business for over 30 years and has been sharing the collection on 1st Dibs since 2013 and on Nantucket Island since 2009.
