Rare and practical size antique bronze sculpture of our Lord Jesus. This gorgeous and modest size bronze sculpture is another one of our recent great finds. Finding Francis Corbeels antiques is very difficult, because most of his works of religious art were made and used in monasteries and churches and those will usually stay there. This rare and perfectly handcrafted bronze bust comes with beautiful details and it has THE best patina you will ever see. Because of its modest size this 'holy heart bust' also makes a great church relic for private / in-home use. The serene facial expression and the superbly carved beard and hair of Christ as well as the holy heart symbol on His chest reveal the talented sculptor that Francis Corbeels was. Combined with the Art Deco design, purple and white marble base this European antique truly is a joy to behold.
