Antique Doctors Standing Scale with Sliding Weights

About the Item

This is a beautiful antique FAIRBANKS Industrial stand up doctors' scale. It has a height indicator and a movable weights made in solid brass. This is all original and still shows the decorative paint details. You just don't find them this way. That's why this example has appeared as a period prop in a number of movies. This is known as a balance scale that was often found in early 20th Century doctors office. It's in working condition.
