Compass in Its Original Wooden Box English Manufacture, 1860



Dry compass in its original wooden box with slot lid. English manufacture from the second half of the 19th century. The compass consists of a brass and glass vessel on the bottom of which a metal stem is fixed on which the eight-wind compass card of paper printed by engraving on copper plate is placed, complete with a goniometric circle. Excellent condition, fully functional. Box size: 19.5 x 19.5 x 13.5 cm - 7.67 x 7.67 x 5.31 inches, compass diameter 14 cm, 5.5 inches.
