A French 19th century ormolu thermometer The rectangular shape very finely chiselled and designed with Science et Arts Attributes on the top and, asparagus in grooves on the sides, and acanthus leaves on the lower part. The thermometer system, in perfect and working conditions, on an humorous hand-painted centigrade scale. Circa 1880.
