This is a large vintage pantagraph. An English, brass scientific mapping instrument, dating to the mid-20th century, circa 1950. Fascinating scale and mechanical interest Displays a desirable aged patina Bright brass finish with appealing golden tones Dark painted frame in good order Extends to a maximum depth of 155.5cm (61.25") Pleasingly knurled adjustment knobs Rolling on a trio of smooth castors Engraved to the top with the initials W.F.S. a serial number and the MoD pheon broad arrow mark Presented within a spacious carriage box On His Majesty's Service label shows appealing ageing This is a large vintage pantagraph, ideal for cartographers or as a display piece for those with a scientific interest. Delivered polished and ready for the home.
