Appealing microscope with a quality finish and range of accessories Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout Polished brass upper section presents rich golden tones Legs finished in black enamel over cast metal Manual focus tube sits above the slide stage, with rotary clips Rotating objective stage offers a pair of pre-set magnifications Articulates for and aft, in conjunction with the lightly time-worn mirror Mahogany carry case provides storage for the accessory eye-cups Small box of glass slides add interest to the set Engraved with the maker's name Henry Crouch - London Further engraved with the serial number 5558 Case secured with an inset working lock — key present This is a fascinating antique scholar's microscope, with a quality appearance and housed within a delightful carry case.
