A gorgeous pair of antique Mother-of-Pearl opera or theatre glasses, by renowned maker 'Colmont Paris'. Constructed from brass, with inlaid panels of iridescent mother of pearl on the shaft and around the eye pieces, these would have been must-have accessories for the elevated social class, who would utilise them at the opera house to get a better view of the onstage performances. This pair is in excellent working condition, and would make an excellent addition to the shelf of any serious theatre or music lover, or a unique gift.
