Rubicon Reflecting Galvanometer Test Piece in Wood Cabinet

About the Item

Submitted for your consideration is this rare Rubicon Reflecting Galvanometer, circa mid-20th century. Presenting in the original wood (appears to be mahogany) cabinet housing with glass dial for illuminated readings. Still operational it appears, but on 6 volts. We can add a 120V illumination lamp internally so the dial lights up as shown in our photos. This is optional for the buyer at no extra cost but a hole will need to be drilled in the wood cabinet for the power cord access. A wonderful scientific display piece with a beautiful manufacturers original label and original glass read out dial. This model 3401H is extremely rare and presents beautifully. The known flaws are the marring of the top piece of the wood cabinet as shown in photos and the replacement cabinet feet that are not original but not really very visible.
