An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English 9 karat yellow gold vesta case; an addition to our boxes and cases collection.
This exceptional antique George V English 9 karat gold vesta case has a plain rectangular rounded form.
The surface of this impressive antique gold vesta case is embellished with vertical bands of engine turned decoration.
This piece is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover with a plain rounded thumbpiece, in addition the contemporary engraved initials 'H.B'.
This fine gold vesta case is fitted with a ring loop attachment to one side.
There is an integrated serrated panel/match striker to the underside.
Condition
This antique gold vesta case is an exceptional gauge of gold, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the rim are all very clear; the marker's mark has wear in keeping with age and location.
