Special tobacco tin, box, cigars, ceramic, smoking accessory, 1890, Art Nouveau

About the Item

A really special tobacco tin, made from ceramic around 1890 - 1900, an early Art Nouveau piece. The special feature of the tobacco box is the age of the object and also the extraordinary design. It seems as if the box consists of a bunch of cigars held together by a ribbon. But the object is made of ceramic, consists of a round body and a removable lid on top. There are letters and a number on the bottom, which unfortunately cannot be assigned to any manufacturer. The box has no restorations, only slight rubbing on the stand. Measurements approx.: height 13,5 cm - 5,31 in, diameter 13 cm - 5,12 in. This tobacco tin is characterized by its rarity, extremly special design and age, an original from the 1890s.
