Victorian Taxidermy Toy Horse, Late 19th Century
About the Item
Victorian taxidermy toy horse, late 19th century.
Unusual and rare, a bit bizarre, this model of a horse with glass eyes, is made of a stuffing material covered with a real animal fur hide stitched together, A great addition for a curiosity cabinet.
These toys are rarely in perfect condition and despite of a patch repair on the right side of the horse's neck, it is in very good condition with original leather bridle intact. The taxidermy horse measures 11" inches long x 7 1/2" inches high.
