ALFRED JAMES PERRY - mid-century - folk art - turtle form bookends - articulated shell and features - each hand carved from a solid block of pine - weighted - original finish - each signed and dated - likely Canadian - circa 1950. Excellent antique condition - extraordinary patina that comes with age and use - minor scuffs and scratches - no loss - no damage - no restoration - ready to use. Size - 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 6 5/8" high (each).
