Bronze Arche bookend

About the Item

ARCHE BOOKEND is a beautiful massive bronze and cedar bookend by Fabien Barrero-Carsenat developped in his studio. The bronze alloy was custom made into his own foundry, from copper, zinc and pewter, providing to each sample their own uniqueness, identity. The cedar wood is burnt following the japanese traditional method named Shou Sugi Ban, and wax finished. This bookend is a limited edition of 8 pieces (please reach out if you wish to order a pair), plus 4 art pieces. Each sample is numbered and signed by the designer maker. From drawing the piece until the final polishing touch, all stages of the making are handle by the designer himself in South-West France, Périgord Noir country side.
