Modernist Bookends Set Black Granite and Etched Glass Slab, France 1980s

About the Item

This architecturally designed pair of bookends from the 1980s is a modernist marvel. The large round disk glass slab is etched with clouds and dots, and the base is constructed of black granite with a large chromed metal wave. These decorative bookends are, however, heavy and stable and will be perfectly usable on your library shelves. There is no visible maker's mark. The bookends are in excellent condition, with no visible traces of use. Measurements for one piece: 6.32 in wide (16 cm) x 3.57 in deep (9 cm) x 6.32 in high (16 cm). Note: The bookends still have their original gift boxes. The books are not included in the sale.
